Dear ISCRA Members,
The momentum from our first academic meeting has been tremendous and has launched a number of important opportunities for our continued membership development, education, and international collaboration.
We are pleased to share several upcoming ISCRA-related events and training opportunities. Additional details, registration information, and program updates will be available through the ISCRA website as each event is finalized.
September 1, 2026
ISCRA International Traveling Fellowship
ISCRA is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the first International Traveling Fellowship, designed to provide advanced training and international collaboration in superior capsular reconstruction.
Applications for the first group of fellows will open on September 1 and will close on December 15. Selected fellows are expected to begin the fellowship on September 1, 2027.
The fellowship will offer a unique opportunity for focused training, mentorship, and academic exchange between leading SCR centers, with an initial emphasis on Japan–USA collaboration.

September 5, 2026
CCV Live Surgery Course (Cali, Colombia)
ISCRA faculty will participate in an upcoming meeting in Cali, Colombia, featuring a live surgery demonstration by Dr. Pablo Narbona, with discussion panel participation by Dr. Teruhisa Mihata and Dr. Paul B. Roache.

September 22, 2026
ISCRA Dinner Symposium at ICSES 2026 (Vancouver, Canada)
ISCRA members and prospective members are invited to attend the ISCRA Dinner Symposium during ICSES Vancouver.
This symposium will provide an opportunity to connect with colleagues, discuss the continued development of ISCRA, and support the advancement of superior capsular reconstruction education, training, and international collaboration.
Attendance will be limited.
January 15–16, 2027
First ISCRA USA / North America Regional Training (Honolulu, Hawaii)
Featuring Dr. Teruhisa Mihata, Dr. Paul B. Roache, and international / USA faculty.
Dr. Jay Boughanem will be hosting this meeting.
ISCRA is developing its first USA / North America Regional Training in Honolulu, Hawaii. This training is planned to provide focused education in superior capsular reconstruction with fascia lata autograft through a symposium and cadaver lab.

April 8-10, 2027
First ISCRA Europe Regional Meeting and Training (Zaragoza, Spain)
Featuring Dr. Teruhisa Mihata (digital attendance), Dr. Thay Lee, Dr. Paul B. Roache, Dr. Clara Azevedo, Dr. Ana Catarina Angelo, Dr. Pablo Narbona, Dr. Miguel Ruiz Iban, and USA faculty.
Dr. Jorge Camacho Chacon will be hosting this meeting.
ISCRA is planning its first Europe Regional Meeting in Zaragoza, Spain. This meeting is expected to bring together an international faculty and trainees for advanced education and collaboration in superior capsular reconstruction.

May 30-June 2, 2027
ISAKOS Congress 2027 (Sydney, Australia)
ISCRA is planning future involvement surrounding the ISAKOS Congress in Australia, including a symposium dinner.
Additional details will be shared once plans are finalized.
September 2027
First ISCRA Latin America Regional Meeting
Hosted by Dr. Pablo Narbona
ISCRA is pleased to announce its first Latin America Regional Meeting, bringing together international faculty and trainees for advanced education and collaboration in superior capsular reconstruction.

Second ISCRA Academic Meeting
Following the success of the first academic meeting, ISCRA is preparing for its second academic meeting in 2028.
