About ISCRA

The International SCR Association (ISCRA) is a global network of leading orthopedic surgeons and specialist providers dedicated to advancing the science and practice of superior capsule reconstruction (SCR) and complex rotator cuff repair. Led by world-renowned experts such as Teruhisa Mihata, ISCRA brings together a founding board and advisors representing multiple countries to foster a centralized resource for surgeons and healthcare teams engaged in this field.
ISCRA’s mission is to develop and disseminate best-practice techniques and training programs in fascia-lata superior capsule reconstruction (FL SCR) and its variants, while its vision is to create regional centers of excellence worldwide to enhance outcomes in rotator cuff surgery.
Through academic meetings, surgeon training labs, and collaborative registries, ISCRA fosters innovation, research and peer-exchange in SCR, graft techniques, biomechanics, rehabilitation, and outcome tracking, positioning itself as a platform for educational leadership and scientific advancement in shoulder surgery.
