Dr. Paul B. Roache is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic shoulder reconstruction and sports medicine. He has been in private practice in San Francisco, California, since 1998 and is affiliated with UCSF Health – St. Francis Memorial Hospital and Sonoma Valley Hospital.

After earning his medical degree from the University of Arizona, Dr. Roache completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and advanced fellowships in shoulder surgery at California Pacific Medical Center and the University of Zurich.

An internationally recognized educator and innovator in shoulder surgery, Dr. Roache is the Founder and Executive Director of the International SCR Association (ISCRA). He has authored numerous scientific publications, developed the "Cable First" rotator cuff repair technique, and serves as faculty for leading national and international educational programs.
