Dr. Clara Azevedo is a Portuguese orthopaedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery. She is Head of the Shoulder and Elbow Unit at SAMS Hospital in Lisbon and also practices at Joaquim Chaves Saúde. Her clinical expertise includes shoulder arthroscopy, arthroplasty, sports injuries, and superior capsular reconstruction (SCR).

Dr. Azevedo earned her medical degree from the University of Lisbon and completed a PhD focused on superior capsular reconstruction. She is an active researcher, international faculty member, and author of numerous scientific publications. She also co-founded Shoulder.pt, an educational initiative dedicated to advancing shoulder and elbow surgery through research, education, and collaboration.
